Application
Applicable to all types of woods. However, for outdoor applications, the use of woods with questionable durability should be avoided. The wood must be free of dust and dirt and free from any varnish or paint layer, to facilitate good penetration and adhesion of the product to the substrate. Do not apply to woods containing more than 15% moisture.
Maintenance
Ready-to-use product. Stir well before use. To facilitate application and penetration of the Teak Oil, avoid applying to wood exposed to the sun or overheated. Apply until the wood is saturated, using a brush or roller evenly. Let it sit for 20-30 minutes. Wipe off excess with a cloth. For a perfect finish, once the first coat is dry, lightly sand and apply a second coat with a cloth. In greasy tropical woods (ipe, merbau, iroko, etc.), longer drying times may be necessary.
Cleaning
If signs of degradation appear over time, simply lightly sand the affected surface and apply 1-2 coats of Teak Oil.
Limpieza
Use White Spirit or turpentine. To avoid the risk of spontaneous combustion of the cloths and tools used, we recommend dampening them with water and disposing of them in a sealed plastic bag, or allowing them to dry spread out in the open air.
