Iruxil Protect

Triple-action water-based protective wood stain: insecticidal, fungicidal, and hydrophobic. It contains fungicidal and insecticidal agents that protect wood against woodworm and blue stain fungi. It has low viscosity, low solid content, and great penetrating power.

Substrate and preparation

Iruxil Protect can be applied to all types of wood or derivatives with a moisture content below 15%. Remove any residues of old varnishes or paints from the wood to be treated to facilitate penetration.

Application

The product is ready for use. Shake well to ensure uniformity. Apply 1-2 coats of 60-80 g/m² (depending on the type of application) with gentle sanding or wire brushing between coats. To facilitate drying, avoid application in cold and humid environments. For greater durability, it is recommended to apply 1-2 coats of Iruxil W-Color impregnation (80-120 g/m²).

Maintenance

If signs of degradation are observed over time, simply sand or wire brush the affected surface gently and apply 1-2 coats of Iruxil W-Color.
